.... that I can beg/borrow/steal off them please?
A very long shot but, the pony has to be clipped, and doesn't like YO's big mains clippers. She is terrified. I know she can get over it as she was terrified of my small ones, but I can now clip her head/ears/chin with them with her loose in the stable asleep.
So we need to borrow either some cordless clippers that work that I can use to desensitise her to them, and maybe clip her neck (will do the rest hopefully with YO's clippers then) ---- OR some old cordless clippers that are duff but still make a great big horrible noise, so I can desensitise her to them then hopefully she will be okay with YO's clippers.
OR if anyone knows of any going cheapish second/third/fourth hand, please let me know!! We have to clip her soon - I want to take all the hair off this time, then wrap her up in 20 rugs ;D so if anyone knows of some clippers that fancy a trip out of their box....

well seeing as I sold some to Wendy then I shall ask her for you! Riding with her on Tuesday hopefully, but should speak to her before then so will write it on my hand! ;D Hers are cordless and quiet...so nice to use but not so for de-sensitising though! Pity I don't sell them still...... So your going naakid then? I will definately have to bib Darcey this year but not sure about all over.... Might naakid-ed Fenella however and she'd still be a fat bubble and not need rugs! *what is up with the time on this board? It's not 11 am or whatever, it's 17:19!! It's tea-time!!!!

Clippers not needed now ---- I spent 40 mins today with YO's clippers and started with a very scared Ebby, and ended with a very relaxed pony eating her hay whilst I clipped her neck - just call me Monty!
All hair hopefully coming off this week or the next!

Cool! I will need to get trimming Darcey; she was sweaty this morning and we were only out for a couple hours having a relaxed ride around the Golf course/Henley. Just shows how, when a bit of coat comes in they suddenly heat up. Poor Darcey has sweat sores by her girth which she didn't get at all through the summer! Be digging out the sheepskin girth sleeves too....
